Firefox 3.5 has blurry fonts for me, apparently it doesn't obey Gnome font settings. From Fix Firefox fonts in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic:
sudo rm /etc/fonts/conf.d/10* sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig
